You forgot your "Master Password" on your Mac!

This tip has come in handy several times so let's get to it and get you on your Mac.

What you'll need is your Installer Disc that came with your Machine when you bought it. Once you've found the disc insert it and restart your machine. Upon restart hold down the "C" Key which is a keyboard shortcut for booting off the disc in your Mac. This may take a little longer then normal to boot but once you see the install screen come up you can let go of the key.

Now were not going to install anything, instead if you go up to the Menu options at the top and navigate to the Utilities/Menu and scroll down to Reset Password. From there you choose your Startup Disk and User that you want to Reset the Password for. You then enter the new password and your good to go!
